Our Courses are designed to enable you to go out in the world and make a difference. We offer a variety of courses including foundation, undergraduate, taught and research postgraduate programmes including our Professional and Executive MBA courses in subject areas such as accounting, nursing, veterinary science, and zoology.
Our students are taught by frontline researchers who are internationally renowned and experts in their fields. At Aber, you are also encouraged to expand your horizons by choosing modules and pathways from different subject areas, allowing you to develop a wide range of skills and follow your own path.
We have several scholarships and bursaries available; our most popular scholarship is our Entrance Examinations and Merit Awards for undergraduate students. Our international accommodation award for international students will cover the cost of living in our university-managed accommodation for free or at a discount of £2000.

Our main campus overlooks the stunning Welsh coast and must have claim to be one of the best University environments in the UK, and our friendly town provides a home from home for university staff and students from more than 100 countries.
Aberystwyth has a lively social scene. Our Student’s Union runs more than 100 clubs and societies from canoeing and computer gaming, to MOOT debates and musical theatre.
Our Penglais Campus is also home to Wales’s largest Arts Centre with a boutique cinema, theatre and live music venue, as well as exhibitions, classes, cafes, and a bar. Our campus is home to restaurants and cafes, the Student’s Union, teaching and studying facilities (including two libraries) and the National Library of Wales (a copyright library) adjacent to campus.
Located on and near to our main campus is our university-managed accommodation. From studio apartments to en-suite accommodation available catered or part-catered, we have options that will best suit you. We guarantee accommodation to all undergraduate and postgraduate students for their first year of study (this applies to applicants who have secured their place to study at Aberystwyth before the 1 st of August in the year of entry you with to study in).
