Based in India, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham was founded in 1994, and today has 15 schools across eight campuses (Coimbatore, Amritapuri, Cochin, Bangalore, Mysore and Amaravati) and offers 200+ degree programs, in a variety of disciplines.
Amrita has approximately 18,000 students and 1,750 faculty members, 600 of which are PhD/DM holders. The university also has a staff to student ratio of 1:10.
