Asfendiyarov University offers 40 accredited bachelor, master, resident and PhD programs, which include 14 bachelor and 14 masters specialities. Consists of 8 schools:Faculty of management in Public Health, General medicine faculty, Postgraduate, Medico-prophylactic faculty, Pediatrics faculty, Pharmaceutical faculty,Stomatological faculty,Therapeutic faculty.
Currently, every third medical professional in Kazakhstan is alumni of Asfendiyarov University. There are 10 378 students studying including 1 773 international students. Educational establishment develops its own educational programs.

"Aksay" hospital - one of the oldest in the Republic of Kazakhstan children's multidisciplinary medical and diagnostic institutions. Each year more than 5 thousand children from Kazakhstan receive help here. Professor hospital, which focuses on helping patients with diabetes and ENT disease, Clinic of Internal Medicine - which is a multidisciplinary diagnostic centre and Dentistry clinic.
