Universidad de los Andes (UANDES) is a Christian inspired institution and despite it being one of the youngest universities in Chile, it was founded on June 1989, today it is already one of the main universities in Chile and has close to 10,000 students and a campus with 7 buildings with almost 800,000 sq ft.In order to bring an integral education and individual focus to its students, the University has assembled all of its schools in only one campus. This allows a permanent interaction between its members and all the disciplines in the same place.Our University is located in Santiago the capital city of Chile on a 128-acre campus with 19 acres of green spaces at the foot of the Andes Mountains. It is surrounded by houses in a friendly and safe neighborhood, which offers spectacular views and excellent connectivity to the city.Universidad de los Andes offers a broad range of bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, PhDs, certificates, diploma degrees and specialist degrees.Students of the Universidad de los Andes enjoy excellent job prospects, as indicated by the university’s strong track record in student employability. In 2016, 91% graduates found employment within six months of graduation.Every year, an exceptional standard of research, teaching and outstanding student facilities draw students to the Universidad de los Andes from all over the world. In fact, until 2017, more than 1,100 students had come from different countries to study at  the UANDES.
